On a warm, sunny day, November 25th, 2022, Michael surprised Karleigh with a special date. They visited the picturesque South Bank Parklands in Brisbane and found a secluded spot in a shady forest-like area. During morning tea, Michael gave Karleigh a handwritten card. After she read it, he knelt down and asked her a very important question. Karleigh joyfully replied, "Of course I do!", and here we are, soon to be married!
Maid of Honour
Calise is my (Karleigh) partner in crime, best friend and identical twin sister. I have been so blessed to always have such a precious friend beside me for every milestone, and having Calise stand beside me on our wedding day is the most special gift of all!
Best Man
Dan is one of the highest quality blokes you'll meet. He's loyal, humble, wise and a God-fearing man. I (Michael) have known Dan for over 10 years and I'm proud to say that he's one of my best mates. It's an honour to have him stand beside me on our wedding day as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Chelsea and I (Karleigh) have been friends since kindy but grew closer together once we'd finished school. We've had the privilege of being there for one another through all seasons in life, and I'm so grateful to have such a beautiful friend!
Groomsman
Gabe and I (Michael) are cousins blessed to have grown up together in Brisbane. We get along extremely well as we are of similar age and have common interests - such as being die-hard Brisbane Lions supporters! I'm certainly proud to call him family.
Bridesmaid
Chelsea and I (Karleigh) have been friends for twenty years, and we met when her family moved to attend Bridgeman Baptist Community Church. I have many special memories with Chelsea and she never fails to make me smile! She is such a treasured friend and it’s been a privilege to stand by each others’ sides at both our weddings this year!
Groomsman
Tim is quite possibly the friendliest bloke you'll ever meet and has an infectious laugh. He and I (Michael) have known each other for many years, having met at Bridgey. I'm privileged to having him stand beside me as I marry Karleigh.
Bridesmaid
I (Karleigh) am so privileged to have Tamara in my life! When Andrew introduced us around seven years ago, Tamara very quickly became one of my closest friends. She is radiant, beautiful and so generous - and I’m so blessed to have her (and baby Courtice) by my side!
Groomsman
Elliott is one of my (Michael) best mates who also attended a Connect group at Bridgey along with Dan, Tim and myself. He recently married his own love of his life, Lexiee, and it was a privilege to have attended their beautiful wedding in Yeppoon. Similarly, I can't wait to have him stand beside me on my own wedding day.
